Being a Nuyorican teen, doing this project has allowed for me to find more Boricua powerhouses than ever.
Please keep in mind that there are many, many more Boricua freedom fighters, activists, protesters and revolutionaries that are not discussed or mentioned in this website.
However, this website was made in hopes of showcases some of the many overlooked Puerto Rican women that have made historical, unequivocal impact on Puerto Rican history and culture.
